A local group of artists needed a modern website. Originally, the site’s goal was to recruit more members and make the group more accessible to new members. However, after some development and additional discussion, the groups’ goal was to promote their individual members and the groups standing in the art community.
The site has three methods of looking up artists; by selecting their painting, their name, or searching for their name. Choosing by aesthetic seemed very important as sometimes a patron will remember the style of the artist, but not the name. Additionally, a favicon was created for the site.
